Easy Peasy Chicken Wing

Well, for my husbuddy's birthday this past week I made him his favourite, favourite meal ever - Chicken wings! I cooked about 50 to 55 for the recipe and in two different flavours too! They are so simple and so easy.

Sweet Chili Chicken Wings
  • 35 raw chicken wings
  • 1 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 650 ml Sweet chili sauce bottle (I use about 3/4 of the bottle but our family loves sweet chili sauce). ** Superstore approx. 2$ Cock Brand name and found in the ethnic food isle**
  • 1/2 c. marg. melted.

  1. Marinate 1 1/4 - 1/2 c. sweet chili sauce with chicken wings in a bowl and refrigerate the night before or morning before you begin making meal. If you are running late, 30 mins of marinating works superb as well!
  2. Heat oven to 375 F.
  3. In three separate bowls pour melted butter into one, fine bread crumbs in another, and about approx. 1 1/4 c. sweet chilli sauce in the other.
  4. Get your hands prepared to individually take a chicken wing dip in butter, then roll...barely once into the fine bread crumbs, then onto the finest but yummiest last stage the sweet chili sauce again. Repeat process for remaining chicken wings.
  5. Place on a 9x 13" cooking sheet, in about 3 rows, cover with tin-foil for a way easier clean up, then cover with tin foil.
  6. After 30 mins of being in the oven, remove tin-foil cover and sprinkle some more chili sauce over the chicken wings (approx. 1/4 c more)
  7. Cook for another 20 more mins and remove from oven

Serve with rice, fry's, corn on the cob - or eat it on its own!

Buffalo Chicken Wings

  • Franks Red Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 c. marg. divided
  • 1/2 c. bread crumb
  1. Same process marinate either 30 mins before or night before in Franks Red Hot Sauce approx. 1/2 c. if cooking remaining 20 wings, however add 1/4 c. melted butter to the marinating process.
  2. 1/4 melted butter in separate bowl, 1/2 c. hot sauce in another, and 1/2 c. bread crumbs etc, etc. Begin dipping, rolling process. Review step 4 above.
  3. place on tin-foil 9 X13" pan, cover wings with foil
  4. after about 25 - 30 mins remove cover to let wings crisp, sprinkle various desired amounts of Hot Sauce onto wings, then remove after 15 - 20 mins.
Add 1/4 c. to ranch into the Hot Sauce if you are feeling risky! Tastes DELISH

****total cooking time 45 mins to 50 mins max @ 375 F. ****

Enjoy
