Happy Boxing Day. We hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas. These last three days have been so lovely. We have enjoyed every moment together as a family and our time with friends. Christmas is a special time to share with loved ones and we couldn't be more grateful to celebrate such a joyous occasion. Christmas Morning was so fun. We all slept in until 9:30 and crept ourselves into the living room to see if Santa made his way here. He did! Winston was so sleepy looking and so happy. We opened gifts, made a special breakfast of bacon & eggs, watched 'It's a Wonderful Life' on youtube {a family tradition of ours}, and played our hearts out with our newest celtic warrior. Winston was in gift opening heaven. He loved ripping open everything, which was basically his most favorite part really, until he found chocolate from the grandparents and bubbles in his stocking. He loves his toy sword and shield. He carries it around with him everywhere protecting us from danger. It is so funny and cute because he has laughing fits and sometimes very serious scowls. We love it.
We made five types of treats for Santa and friends this christmas; 1. gingersnaps, 2. caramels, 3. sugar cookies, 4. rice crispy treats, 5. shortbread stars (a recipe from a dear friend)
